Delete your TempusCore account
This page explains how to delete your TempusCore account (an application by Javier Ruiz Villalba) and the associated data, what is deleted and what is kept.
From the app (immediate)
- Open TempusCore and sign in.
- Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Delete account and data.
- Enter your password and tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete permanently.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you want to keep your data first, export it in Settings → Export your data (JSON or CSV).
If you cannot sign in to the app
Write to us at tempuscoreapp@gmail.com from your account's email address, with the subject “Delete my account”. That is how we check it is you; if you no longer have access to that address, tell us how we can verify your identity. We reply within one month at most.
If you use guest mode (no account)
We do not have your data: it is only on your phone. To delete it, in Settings choose to leave guest mode and confirm with Delete and leave, or uninstall the app.
What is deleted
When you delete your account we remove: your account, your workouts and the workout in progress, habits, meals, weight, measurements, vitals, supplements, your own foods, relationships with coaches or clients, chats, routines, programs, ratings, consents, your subscription data and the notification identifier. Routines you shared with a code stop being available. The local copy on your phone is deleted when you sign out.
What is kept and for how long
- Reports received about a person who deletes their account: the copy of the reported message and of the 5 before it is kept for 12 months after the report is resolved (or from the deletion of the account, if it was pending), so action can be taken if the same person returns (legitimate interest in the security of the platform).
- Reports you made: they are anonymised (what identifies you is removed) and the reported message is kept for the same reason and period.
- Technical logs (IP, errors): 30 days at most.
- Backups: the database is backed up every day and each backup is kept for 8 days; your data disappears from the backups within 8 days at most.
- Subscriptions: deleting the account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel it first, with Apple (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or on Google Play.
